Why You Need an SEO Agency

SEO agency

Over the last ten years, advertising has rapidly changed. Now it’s more important than ever before to use search engine optimization to make your website accessible via Google  and other search engines. Consider hiring an SEO agency in order to drive traffic and get more sales for your business.

Want to be found on the web? Invest in a search engine optimization agency.

Almost 90% percent of Americans look online to find information. And over 90% of online searchers use Google as their primary search engine. Understanding Google’s search engine algorithms is key to advertising your business in 2015.

Don’t try this at home. SEO can get complicated.

If you’re not careful, your efforts to search engine optimize your website could accidentally penalize it instead. Years ago, companies specializing in SEO services stuffed hundreds of keywords into the code of websites in order to improve search engine rank. Today an over-abundance of duplicate keywords will actually decrease your page rank. Every few months, Google changes their algorithms so you have to be constantly vigilant to conduct search engine optimization according to the latest rules.

Be sure to hire an agency skilled at both on page and off page search engine optimization services.

SEO isn’t just about on page keyword optimization. Optimizing your title tags, image (alt) tags, and headings with keywords is only a small aspect of what is required to rank well on Google. Putting your keyword into the tags on the webpage is part of a good on page SEO strategy, but without off page SEO, your page will not rank well.

Google does determine page rank dependent on if there are keywords on your website pages in all of the right pages, but they also calculate page rank based on these factors:

  • The age of the website (older is better)
  • The popularity of the website (more views equals increased rank)
  • The number of links linking to the website (links from more popular websites count more than links from less popular sites)
  • The location of the website (search results in one state will be completely different than search results in another state.
