Roger: Hi I’m Roger Bryan, Founder of Enfusen. Today I have Leyna with us, and we’re going to be talking about why you need to be doing video marketing. Before we do that though, Leyna, why don’t you introduce yourself? Leyna: Hi, my name is Leyna Chovan, and I am a Content Manager here at Enfusen, and I do the Video Marketing. Roger: We’re going to be talking today about a couple of reasons why video marketing should be important to your organization. The first thing I want to talk about is, why don’t you tell us three places that every business should be using video, and why they should be using it there?
Leyna: Sure. Three places that you could be using video are:
So there’s tons of different places you can use video. Roger: Those are some pretty powerful statistics that really say, If you’re not using video, you’re missing out on an opportunity to optimize different points of your overall conversion path.
The next thing is, I always struggle to say this, is that in my mind, well actually in fact, people are just f*cking lazy. They just don’t want to read text anymore. They’d rather watch video and consume content that way. Why don’t you tell us a little bit about that trend, and some statistics that will really help the audience understand why video marketing is so important? Leyna: It’s definitely important and organizations are seeing a great return on investment with this. About 73% of organizations that are using it, are getting a powerful, positive return on investment with this. Roger: All right. Then really right now, I think, one of the biggest opportunities with video marketing is that only about a quarter of B2B sellers are using video, and that leads to a huge opportunity for you to embrace it. I think back to the days when AdWorks first started, and I could by clicks for five cents, ten cents, twenty-five cents. Then when Facebook marketing started to become popular five or six years ago, I could buy clicks again like that. Right now video views like this are costing half of a penny. It’s not going to be like that in six months, so you need to be getting on this train now, and be getting videos up and using paid traffic to generate a large audience. The last thing that I want you to touch on is, what are some of the statistics that show how consumers are consuming video content?
Leyna: Absolutely. Let’s be honest, we love videos – Whether it’s a cat video or something like this. We’re spending about a third of our time when we’re online watching videos, we’re exposed to about 32 of them a month. Business to business executives are doing the same thing. They’re also watching videos online. A recent survey of them said that a lot of their decision making process is actually influenced by the organization’s video content that they have on their website. So, some pretty powerful stuff –
Roger: Actually, in the survey there was about 90% of executives in B2B decision-making sales funnels said that video was an influence in their overall buying strategy. The main point of this video is, you need to be using video in your marketing. Hopefully, some of these strategies will help you understand that. I’d love to see some of your videos, if you want to post them down below, or ask us any questions or anything that we can help you with. I appreciate you taking the time to watch this video. Thanks.
