Writing content for Web2.0 blogs is important from the seo standpoint. The purpose of writing content and posting that content to Web2.0s is to get Google to rank your company higher on the page than other similar companies. The first and most important step to take is to research the company you are writing the blog post for. Find out what they do and who they help. If you know what you are talking about, it will come across in the post.

Next, pick a primary keyword for the blog post. This keyword is something that people would search for and then come across your blog. The keyword should appear in the title and in the first 120 characters of you’re article. The keyword density should be about 2.5%, which means that the keyword would appear about 3-5 times in the article. Each post should be between 350-500 words. This will make it easier for search engines to find because search engines generally do not recognize posts that are under 350 words.

Another great way to keep your readers interested is to use titles like How Toâ??s or Top Ten or Best Practices. Remember to write in short, concise paragraphs, people do not like to read lots of text. And of course, always use spell check. The title of your blog should be under 70 characters and be interesting enough for people to want to read your post. You may also want to include an image and title the image so a search engine can find what it is.

The goal of writing content for Web2.0 blogs is to educate the reader. Make the reader trust you by becoming a reliable source of information for valuable content. Let the reader discover how great your information is on their own, do not tell them how awesome you are. Write like you are an expert on the topic.

Writing content for Web2.0 blogs should be done frequently and consistently. Focus all of your posts around one topic. Also, add your personal Google+ authorship to your blog. Google generally favors blogs who are written by Google authors.

web2.0-blog Optimize the content you write by linking your keywords to the companies website. This will drive traffic to their page and help their company show up on the first page of Google. Make one of the keywords an anchor text, this means the link would be in the keyword. Make another link a naked link, this means the website URL would show up. This naked link should show up at the bottom of the page with a call to action. A call to action would be visit this companies website to find out more information, with the naked URL linked to the website.

Writing content for Web2.0 blogs needs to be done for search engine optimization.
